Nate Schierman's new CD, "Risk" available now!

With the release of the first single, “Tumbling After,” from his debut album with Dummy Boy Records, Nate Schierman has demonstrated his ability to capture a very raw, almost live feeling to his music.

This extraordinary single is excellent groundwork to continue an already successful career as he has already logged over 1,000 performances andsold over 22,000 records. Schierman has toured with and shared stages with such names as Dave Matthews Band, Vertical Horizon, Pearl Jam, Tal Bachman, Presidents of the United States of America, Tyrone Wells, John Oszjaca and Christian sensation Paul Wright.

Signed to Dummy Boy Records in March, 2007, the self-taught musician from the Inland Northwest, Idaho to be exact, will be doing a west coast tour in the next couple of months, and next year, to promote the single and lay the groundwork for the national release of his new album, “Risk.”

There are certain elements to his music that were captured during the 50’s and 60’s when music was music and not a computer generated sound.



Nate has not let himself be influenced by commercial artists. The combination of how different his sound is, mixed with some old school simplicities, merges together like a high powered combination on “Risk” and this new single “Tumbling After.”

Nate has been characterized as an artist deemed “Most Likely to Sell It” by the Spokesman Review, and the Sacramento News and Review described him as “ambitious, innovative and electrifying.”

In addition to Nate’s ability to produce a unique show, which his records mimic, he has the ability to loop synthesized sounds on the keyboard, while simultaneously looping sounds from his acoustic guitar which produces a live performance that is passionate, deep, and intense and makes his live show one that shouldn’t be missed.

He has also made inroads in the television market as his powerful piano ballad, “Desperately Wanting,” was featured on NBC’s “So You Think You Can Dance,” and “Sweet Nothings” was on the hit show “Stargate.”

With equal parts rock, punk, and metal, iLLUSiON 33 is now ready to claim their throne as rock music’s new kingpins. Together since 2000, iLLUSiON 33’s melody-drenched rock style may remind you of your old and new favorites, but they carve a place of their own. Hailing from rural Sandpoint, Idaho, founders Jesse Bennett (vocals, guitar), Jason Stoddard (vocals, bass guitar) and K.C. Carter (drums) have toured coast-to-coast under contract with Guitar Center, became a part of the Van’s Warped Tour in 2002-2003, were named the “Best Band” at Las Vegas’ Music and Fashion Expo in 2005, and have played countless festivals and sold-out shows, gaining fans exponentially with their “in-your-face” energetic performance.

iLLUSiON 33 took it to a new level when they added seasoned guitarist Bob Capka to their lineup. Formerly of Craving Theo, Capka played such events as South by Southwest before being signed to Columbia Records in 2000. Under Columbia, Capka had the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s top names, as well as toured and shared stages with Godsmack, Three Doors Down, Nickelback, Live, Sevendust, and more. He also had the opportunity to shoot a video with producer Nathan “Karma” Cox that appeared briefly on MTV and VH1.

The foursome decided to take a new direction for their debut album by deepening their artistic abilities and focusing on a melodic, pop-minded album. The result was "18 Shades," released in early 2007, and has been compared to the sounds of Foo Fighters, Green Day, Fallout Boy, and Everclear. They are currently in the studio recording their next album, combining their 3-part harmonies, huge riffs, and power drumming to take the music and the energy to an entirely new level.

"It's the damndest thing, listening to local band iLLUSiON 33 you can catch snatches of melody and guitar riffs that completely remind you of someone, but you can't place it," wrote Zach Hagadone, publisher of the Sandpoint Reader (Idaho). Hagadone doesn't know how to describe iLLUSiON 33 in comparison with anybody else, but "to put it simply, they sound like they're already famous."
